Terms of service

Last updated September 27, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Advanced Foundry Tech LLC (“we”, “us”) for the use of WorksheetIQ - its website, tools and file processing (the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and is part of these terms.

By creating an account, making a purchase, or uploading a file, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you may agree for it, and “you” includes that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Give accurate account and billing information, keep your password safe, and tell us straight away at admin@advancedfoundrytech.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except where it is caused by our own failure.

2. What the Service does - and checking the results

WorksheetIQ cleans, merges, converts, compares, extracts and restructures spreadsheet, CSV and PDF files. Some tools are free and need no account; others are paid, per file or by subscription. What each plan includes, and its limits, are on the pricing page. The Service is a productivity tool, not a system of record or professional adviser.

We show you what will change before anything runs, preview the result before you pay, and put anything we could not convert safely into a Needs Review sheet rather than guessing. Even so, automated processing can omit, duplicate, reorder, misread or wrongly change data, formulas, dates, currencies, identifiers and tables, and PDF extraction and AI-assisted steps are especially prone to error. Check every result against your source files before you use, share or import it, and do not rely on an unchecked result for accounting, tax, legal, financial, medical, employment, safety or compliance decisions. Keep your own copies of your source files; ours are deleted automatically.

3. Your content

The files and instructions you give us, and the files we produce from them, are yours. You give us, and the providers named in our Privacy Policy, permission to store, copy, transmit, process and display them only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, to comply with the law, and to enforce these terms. That permission ends when they are deleted, apart from the backups and records the Privacy Policy describes. We never use your files to train AI models, never publish them, and never sell their contents.

You confirm you have every right and permission needed to upload what you upload, including any notices or consents required for personal information about other people, and that your use breaks no law or agreement.

Do not upload payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health records, biometric data, children’s data, passwords or other highly sensitive or regulated information. The Service is not built for them, and we do not sign business associate agreements or make data-residency commitments.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • break the law or anyone else’s rights;
  • upload malware, or deliberately malformed files meant to harm the Service;
  • access another person’s account, jobs or data;
  • probe, disrupt or overload the Service, or send automated abusive requests;
  • get around the limits of your plan or the free tools, or our payment or security controls;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows it; or
  • use results to deceive or harm anyone.

We may set reasonable limits on files, rates, storage and usage, and may block or suspend activity that threatens the Service or other users.

5. Plans, payments and cancelling

The checkout page shows the price, what you are buying and, for a subscription, how often it is charged. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that apply.

  • Per file. A one-off payment unlocks the full download of that job’s results for as long as its files are kept (see the Privacy Policy). It is not a subscription and does not renew.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically. By starting one, you authorise us to charge your payment method the disclosed price at the start of each monthly period until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time from your dashboard (Manage subscription), in a few clicks, or by writing to admin@advancedfoundrytech.com. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and it then ends.
  • Changing plan. Moving to a higher plan takes effect straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of the current period. Moving to a lower plan takes effect at the end of the period.
  • Allowances included in a plan reset each period; unused allowances do not carry over and have no cash value.
  • Refunds. Payments are not refundable, including for part of a period, except where the law requires or where we agree to put right a paid job that went wrong. If something went wrong, write to admin@advancedfoundrytech.com.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we retry it and keep your plan meanwhile. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan; your history and saved conversions remain.
  • Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will email subscribers at least 30 days beforehand, so you can cancel first.
  • Tell us promptly at admin@advancedfoundrytech.com if you think you have been charged in error. This does not affect any right you have to dispute a charge with your bank.

6. Our intellectual property, and feedback

We and our licensors own the Service, its software, design and branding - but not your content. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely; that gives us no rights in your files.

7. Other services

The Service relies on providers such as Amazon Web Services and Stripe, and its availability can be affected by them. We remain responsible for our obligations under these terms. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment itself.

8. Suspension and ending the agreement

We may suspend or restrict access to deal with a security threat, suspected fraud, unlawful use, non-payment or a serious breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. We may close an account for a serious breach, after notice and a chance to put it right where appropriate, or immediately where needed to prevent harm or comply with the law.

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. If we discontinue the Service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and refund any prepaid period we cannot provide. Download what you need first; deletion follows the Privacy Policy. The parts of these terms that by their nature should continue - payment already owed, ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity and disputes - continue after the agreement ends.

9. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service and its results are provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any promise that the Service or its results will be uninterrupted, secure, complete, accurate, error-free or suitable for a particular use.

Some places do not allow some of these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither we nor our owners, employees or service providers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business interruption, or lost or corrupted data, arising from the Service or these terms, even if told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims together is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory, but do not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited - for example for fraud or wilful injury - or any consumer rights that cannot be waived.

11. Indemnity

If you use the Service for a business, you will defend and compensate us against third-party claims, and the reasonable costs of them, arising from your content, your breach of the law or someone’s rights, or your serious breach of these terms - except to the extent caused by us. We will tell you promptly of such a claim, let you control its defence, and cooperate at your expense; you may not settle it in a way that places obligations on us without our written agreement. For individual consumers, this section applies only as far as the law allows.

12. Disputes and governing law

Before starting a court case, please email us a description of the problem and what you want, and allow 30 days to resolve it informally; this does not stop either of us seeking urgent relief or acting to preserve a claim. California law governs these terms and any dispute about them or the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory law of where you live says otherwise. Unless mandatory law requires another forum, the state and federal courts in San Diego County, California have exclusive jurisdiction. Either of us may use small-claims court for an eligible claim. There is no arbitration agreement or class-action waiver.

13. Changes and general terms

We may update these terms for the future. We will post the new version with its date and email account holders before a material change takes effect; a material change that disadvantages an existing paid subscription applies from its next renewal unless the law or an urgent security need requires otherwise. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Service and cancel before it applies.

These terms, and any terms shown at checkout, are the whole agreement about the Service; a signed agreement with us takes priority where they conflict. If part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, reorganisation or sale of the Service. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, though that does not excuse payment already owed. These terms create no partnership, employment or agency relationship. Legal notices to us go to admin@advancedfoundrytech.com; we may contact you at your account’s email address or through the Service.
