How it works
- 1Drop in two or more CSV files. They do not have to have the same columns in the same order.
- 2Every file is processed automatically: columns that mean the same thing are matched up, and you see the mapping before anything is combined.
- 3You confirm or change the mapping. Nothing is merged until you do.
- 4Download one file, with a Source File column saying which upload each row came from.

Supported formats
This tool accepts .csv, .tsv. Up to 5 files at a time without an account. We work out the encoding and the separator from the file itself, so a semicolon-separated export or one saved in a non-UTF-8 encoding opens correctly rather than as a single column of nonsense.
Questions
- What if the files have different columns?
- That is the normal case and it is what this tool is for. We match columns that mean the same thing — Customer, Customer Name and client_name — and show you the suggested mapping. Where we are not confident we ask rather than assuming. A column that only exists in one file is kept, with the other rows left blank.
- Does the row order change?
- No. The files are stacked in the order you uploaded them, and rows keep their order within each file.
- How many files can I merge?
- Five at a time without an account, and up to fifty on a paid plan. The limit is per job — you can run it again.
- Is it free?
- Running the merge and seeing the result is free, with no account. Downloading it is part of the paid product - a one-off payment for that file, or a subscription if you merge files regularly. Files whose columns are already exactly the same are the exception: stacking those downloads free.
- What happens to my file?
- It is uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed, and deleted automatically - within 24 hours for anonymous use. We never use anyone’s spreadsheet data to train models. You can delete a job and its files at any time from the job page.
